Knowing Our True Nature

Life becomes the creation it’s meant to be when we recognize what we really are, and see the nature of thought for what it is. When we understand our emotions as guidance we no longer get caught fighting against ourselves (as if there were two of us, on that could fight the other), and suffering is seen for what it is. A kind of alchemy occurs when we engage the power of our focus, and recognize that everything that is not wanted only gives us stronger clarity for what we do want. Occasionally we believe that we are focused on what we want, when actually we are focused upon the reason we believe it is not already the case in its essence or not possible for us. Aligning with this understanding has been a beautiful journey that has completely changed how I see and experience the world. While it can be difficult to communicate or explain especially in a small amount of text on a webpage, I find the process of sharing this a very creative and joyous one not at all unlike creating art. I currently do this mostly through making videos.

Nonduality means “not two”. There are not two separate defined parts, self and other, self and world. Thoughts that are based on the belief in this separation outside the knowing of the creation of them result in suffering.
